Gaybombay is a self-evolving informal group, a product of like-minded gay people from Mumbai (mainly, but not totally) coming together in good faith to create a safe space for men who are romantically and sexually attracted to men. All of us at Gaybombay have experienced the joys and sorrows of being ‘different’. We wanted to make things a little easier for those who have come after us. So we created this space where gays can:

Saathi is an informal support group for the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning) community of IIT Bombay. We aim to create a safe space for this much oppressed community where you can seek support or interact and exchange views with “like-minded” people.

Saathi is an informal support group for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual , Transgender, Queer and Questioning (LGBTQ) community residing in IIT Bombay Campus and/or officially associated with IIT Bombay. It would comprise mainly of, but not limited to current students, alumni, staff and family of staff. The group also welcomes Straight Allies to join and support us.
The group is meant to be a safe space for people who’re still coming to terms with themselves and their sexuality and/or are confused. The principal aim of the group is to help people discover themselves in a comforting and a supporting environment along with people who’re going through or have gone through the same.
The group can be a great place to make friends with people who are facing or have faced challenges similar to your own and can be a place to debate, discuss, understand and argue about various stuff, need not be just on LGBTQ issues.
