Fresh & Local needs more space to grow fruits and veggies for the upcoming growing season. Add some lovely, oxygen-giving greenery to your home or office and support our efforts to grow food in the city!

For the next two weeks we are clearing out our ornamental plants. Plants available include Areca palms, Aloe vera, Adulsa, Philodendron xanadu, Asparagus fern, Baby tears (not as bad as they sound), Bougainvillea, Spider plant, and flowering plants that are all in excellent condition.

We suggest a donation of Rs 250 – 500 per plant. Your contribution advances the urban farming movement in Mumbai by supporting our research into the best growing techniques and expanding our demonstration garden so that more city dwellers can experience local, organic farming.

The Mumbai Oktoberfest takes place on 14th, 15th & 16th of October 2011 from 5:00 p.m till 10:00 pm. at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

It is on par with the Munich Oktoberfest in terms of authenticity – a huge Oktoberfest tent, a German Oktoberfest music band, German beer (Erdinger), German sausages…
