Finally went to gostana burgers to try out their burgers. I had got their menu in the mail and the price of a single burger was 150, some reviews gave the impression that the burgers were huge. This is because the Mc Donalds chicken burgers are just 50 rupees !
The Shop is located at pali village near the famed Bagel Shop. If you are coming down from pali hill you take the first left opposite to bagel shop (which should be on your right).
The shop is tiny . With 3 tables with 3 chairs each . The shops also goes not fry anything there. There are 3 microwave ovens, one toaster and one coffee making machine.
The burger buns are take in plastic packets ( i guess they are made else where and go there.)
The chicken patty (what i was eagerly awaiting) was larger in diameter than the Mc Donalds burger but thinner in thickness. It was a mix of chicken and pepper.
This patty was placed over the burger with some mustard, lettuce and some stuff was sprayed over it. No Cheese!.And a sprinkling of lettuce.
This is then put into the microwave oven for 1 minute and then served. You need to ask for sauce if you need it . This burger (gostana chicken burger ) is served with (5 thinly pieces of carrot and 2 strips of capsicum)
The burger puns were tender and soft – hence freshly freshly baked (somewhere) . The chicken patties was a disappointment (for the 130 Rupees charged for the burger) that too without cheese.
The cappuccino was good .
You need to ask them what is for dessert as it keeps changing (the guy said short cake then says there is no short cake but there is chocolate mousse).
The chocolate mousse was dark chocolate but was not fluffy (when the mousses is well beaten ) . I guess we could call it some kind of chocolate than a mousse.
Rating 2 stars .
It is not a place to go eat. Maybe if you want to go chill out with a group of friends take 10 and you can take over the restaurant
. Sit have some coffee and chill. Not for burgers .
